Los
Angeles Vectorworks® Users Group
The Los Angeles Vectorworks Users Group is a mutual support
group for users of Nemetschek America's Vectorworks CAD
program and the associated Industry Series Applications
(Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Mechanical) and the
Renderworks rendering program.
The
group is currently meeting the third Monday on the month in
Studio City. Meetings are normally held form 7:00 to 9:00
PM and are open to anyone interested in VectorWorks.
Occasionally meetings will be held at alternate locations.
A meeting announcement is sent out via email to all group
members during the previous week. The announcement includes
the exact meeting location, time, and directions. A brief
overview of topics to be discussed is also included. Often
jobs wanted/offered and classified ads are included.
Meetings are usually an open forum based around one or two
prepared presentations. Questions are almost always
accepted. At many meetings a large block of time is devoted
just to questions and answers. In most cases, a number of
different possible solutions are proposed for the
questions.
There is no cost to be a group member, and no charge to
attend the meetings.
